EQUANIMITY

Sculptor and designer Leila Habiche presents the world debut of her project “Equanimity” during the 2019 Milan Design Week. As a result of seven years of research, Equanimity is a multi-sensorial armchair able to positively affect the psycho-physical health thanks to a multitude of combined stimulations. An installation specifically prepared for the design week will precede the product reveal set for Autumn 2019. Her atelier, located in Via Tortona 31, will be transformed in order to give the visitors a chance to explore some functionalities of Equanimity. An immersive and chronological experience arranged as a multisensorial walk will be offered: starting with a focus on the sculptor’s life, visitors will eventually experience some functionalities of Equanimity, among which the “zero gravity” posture, which allows people to enjoy a true moment of spiritual peace.
