The Japanese designer Naohiko Mitsui has produced a spectacular artistic installation for Toyota, which will be at the design week with the presentation of Setsuna, a new car concept made mainly of wood. The decision to use wood, a material that is durable but changeable over time, reflects Toyota’s intento to give shape to the relationship between people and their cars. Setsuna shows how cars are transformed over time as they absorb the aspirations, memories and emotions of the generations within one family.
