About us In the Tortona area, the historic Fuorisalone district where design began to present itself in innovative ways since 2001, Tortona Rocks, edition after edition, has established itself as an exhibition and communication concept dedicated to contemporary design.

Tortona Rocks is the independent project extended in the Tortona area that selects and promotes the contents of the extensive exhibition circuit and the Opificio 31 exhibition hub run by Milano Space Makers.

Now on its 8th re-run, Tortona Rocks has already hosted design projects from over 40 countries, organised 200 events and attracted a good 150.000 visitors every Design Week, becoming the most vibrant reference point for design in Milan and an unmissable port-of-call in the Fuorisalone circuit.

The event has involved world-famous designers and creatives, like Marteen Baas, Formafantasma, Naoto Fukasawa, Mario Bellini, Marcel Wanders, Philippe Nigro, Naohiko Mitzui, Neri&Hu, YOY, Antonio Marras, Ashley Hicks, Carolina Irving, Idarica Gazzoni, Nathalie Farman-Farma, Stephan Janson, Susanne Thun, Alex Chinneck, Matteo Ragni.
